FTMO Challenge Passes
Bring your own FTMO challenge, buy a pass, and Autowealth trades the account until it's funded. Pass it and FTMO refunds the challenge fee — so what you actually spend is the pass, not the account.

The refund is FTMO's, on FTMO's terms, and only lands once the account is funded and takes its first payout. If the challenge fails, the fee isn't refunded — see the risk note below.
How it works
Four steps, and only the first one happens outside Autowealth.
- 01
Buy your FTMO account
Buy the challenge directly from FTMO — we recommend the 2-Step FTMO Challenge on a Standard account. It stays in your name, on your FTMO login. Autowealth never owns or resells FTMO accounts.
- 02
Buy a challenge pass
In the Autowealth app, buy one pass per challenge account, matched to its size. The pass is our trading fee — the one-off cost of having Autowealth trade the challenge for you.
- 03
Connect your MT5 account
Enter the MT5 login, both passwords (investor and master), and the server from your FTMO Client Area. We validate the connection — usually within 30 minutes — and trading starts.
- 04
We trade it until it passes
Autowealth runs the account through Challenge and Verification. Expect roughly 2–4 months. Once it's funded, FTMO refunds your challenge fee with your first payout.
Pass pricing
One pass covers one challenge account, start to funded. Buy the size that matches the FTMO account you bought.
How you can pay
- USDT
- BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20)
- USDC
- Arbitrum One
- Card
- Charged in USD, processing fee included at checkout
Crypto payments must arrive as the exact token on the exact network shown on your invoice. Card checkout adds the payment processing fee on top of the list price — the full total is shown before you confirm. Prices are set in the app and can change; the checkout screen is the source of truth.
Connecting your MT5 account
Once a pass is paid, the app asks for the MetaTrader 5 credentials of the FTMO account it should trade.
- Login (account number)
- The numeric MT5 account number from your FTMO Client Area.
- Investor password
- The read-only password FTMO lists as "Investor".
- Master password
- The trading password from the same FTMO screen. It's what lets us place trades on the account. Both passwords are stored encrypted.
- Server
- Copy it exactly as FTMO shows it, e.g. FTMO-Server3.
- Account phase
- Challenge, Verification, or Funded. Just bought the account? Leave it on Challenge.
Keep the details current
FTMO issues a fresh MT5 login every time the account moves on — Challenge to Verification, and again when it becomes a funded account. Each time, open the pass in the app, choose Connect a different account, and enter the new credentials. Trading is paused on the old login until you do.
What you pay once it's funded
The pass covers getting the account funded. After that, Autowealth invoices 50% of every payout you actually receive.
- 01Your funded account makes a profit over the payout period.
- 02FTMO takes its share — you receive 80% of the profit.
- 03Autowealth invoices 50% of that payout — never of the profit before FTMO's cut.
- 04You pay the invoice in USDT, USDC, or by card. No payout, no invoice.
- Profit on the account
- $10,000
- FTMO's share (20%)
- −$2,000
- Your payout
- $8,000
- Autowealth invoice (50%)
- −$4,000
- You keep
- $4,000
FTMO's standard profit split is 80/20. If your account is on a different split, the invoice still tracks the payout you actually receive.
Good to know
- The FTMO account is yours. It's bought in your name and stays under your FTMO login.
- Both MT5 passwords are stored encrypted. The master password lets us place trades; neither password can withdraw funds from FTMO.
- One pass, one account. Buy several passes if you're running several challenges.
- Passing typically takes 2–4 months. There is no deadline pressure from our side.
Challenges can fail. If the account breaches FTMO's rules, the challenge ends, FTMO does not refund the challenge fee, and the pass is spent. Only buy with money you can afford to lose.
